Within our sustainability program, you play a crucial part. How? For every purchase you make, we’re donating new trees or fresh drink water to impoverished regions on your behalf. The best part about our sustainability program is that you don’t have to do anything.
Furthermore, we also optimize our supply chain and make our office greener. One of the most important projects we’re working on is providing an eco-friendly flight option by compensating for carbon emissions. That way, you’ll travel confidently, knowing that your carbon footprint is minimized.

To achieve these goals, we’ve taken different measures. For example, we have a long-standing collaboration with Eden Reforestation Projects and Made Blue, NGOs that specialize in supporting developing regions with trees and fresh drinking water, respectively. Every gift card counts towards our goals.
Sustainability in the office
Progress starts within. That’s why we’re constantly looking for new ways to make our company more environmentally friendly. Here are some of the changes we’ve made to our offices:
– Regulating the temperatures in the office mindfully.
– Only 8% of our team travel by car; the rest commute by bike or on foot (75%) and by public transport (18%).
– We provide our team with daily lunches that incorporate organic products. Once a month, we have a week of only vegetarian lunches.
– Plastic use is limited in our offices. We also recycle glass and paper.
It doesn’t stop there. We’re looking towards implementing more improvements in the coming months and years. These include:
– Compensating the footprint created by office electronics (such as computer screens).
– Reducing or offsetting our business flights.
– Sending our gift cards within the Netherlands (our headquarters office) using green delivery methods.
– Compensating the effect of the non-green commuting methods from our team.
– Installing new plants in the office
– Fitting motion-activated, energy-efficient light bulbs in our offices.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. You can expect more initiatives from us in the future to become a sustainable gift card company.
Sustainability outside the office
As a travel industry member, we know its impact on the world. In addition to our efforts within the office, we’re collaborating with different NGOs to restore the balance in our ecosystem.
