Experiencegift was founded in 2013 by Loes Daniels and Jorik Schröder, two visionary entrepreneurs with a shared passion for enabling people to gift experiences over things.
Loes, a business administration graduate from Erasmus University Rotterdam, began her career in management consulting at Deloitte and EY, gaining valuable insights into strategy and business growth.
Jorik, an economics graduate from Groningen University with an MBA from INSEAD, honed his expertise in management consulting at Booz & Company before transitioning to private equity.
Together, Loes and Jorik combined their entrepreneurial drive and professional experience to create Experiencegift, starting with Hotelgift. Their innovative approach soon led to the launch of Flightgift, Activitygift, and Traingift, expanding their vision to touch more lives around the globe. Along the way, they have been recognized with multiple awards as one of the fastest-growing companies in EMEA and the Netherlands.
